We are proud to work with Secret Smokehouse Salmon who have been awarded PGI certification for their ‘London Cure’ Smoked Salmon. It sits alongside Champagne and Parma Ham, which have gained this elusive and quality-guaranteeing recognition for truly outstanding and historically important products. London Cure Smoked Salmon can only be produced in the East End of London, nowhere else, Secret Smokehouse only works with high welfare fish. All their salmon is farmed in Scotland by a small, independent, family-run producer, then hand-filleted and oak-smoked on site using traditional techniques. The salmon has a gentle smoke and a ‘melt in your mouth consistency’ which calls for simple preparation—perfect with brown bread and a squeeze of lemon or purely on its own.
