Pimhill Farm is family run, and was one of the first farms in the UK to be converted to organic in 1949. Pimhill Farm is a mixed organic farm. They have a dairy herd of 300 cows and also grow wheat and oats which they sell through their mill. The mill is situated on the farm. To create their Porridge Oats the oat grain is cut into half before being rolled. This is a very versatile type of oat and makes a smooth, quick-cooking porridge.
