Koehler-Ruprecht Riesling
Dominik Sona describes Koehler-Ruprecht as "the last of the mohicans", and this legendary Pfalz domaine does have the air of a confident estate proudly making wine as it always has. Farming is being converted to biodynamic and, in the winery, wild yeast fermentations in old oak casks are taken to full dryness. Dry, crisp and utterly delicious from the sandier soils of the region so wines bright and open. Notes of quince and honey with a lovely texture that pairs well with all sorts of lighter dishes.
