Dive into the taste of London's first craft lager brewery and taproom, with Pillars brewing some of the UK's very best lager. Their Pilsners is crisp, clean and refreshing plus a gluten-free lager packed with pine and citrus flavours. Their Hops Lager is a classic made new again. This India Pale Lager has the light body of a lager, and the hoppy taste of a pale ale. A refreshing session beer serving zesty citrus notes and a crisp clean dry-hopped finish. Their Helles golden lager is a clean easy drinker filled with full-bodied flavour.
These beers are paired perfectly with some of the delectable savoury treats you will find in this luxury hamper. Our moreish Melrose and Morgan Buttermilk, Chilli and Thyme Crackers are handmade and ideal to snack on by themselves or with a slither of La Fromagerie's, Tunworth. Perhaps not as nutty or earthy as a Camembert, it has light earthy brassica vegetal notes, a perfect addition to a cheeseboard. Both are delicious topped with a generous dollop of our Melrose and Morgan Port and Red Onion Marmalade.
Our Mixed Selection Charcuterie Platter is handmade and dried in Islington, London by specialist butchery Cobble Lane, with produce from high-quality British farmers. This platter contains Fennel & Garlic Salami, Coppa and Bresaola. The award-winning Fennel and Garlic Salami is a take on the classic Italian Finocchiona, made from British porkand hung for at least six weeks for a moist subtle texture. The cured marbled Coppa is a great showcase for flavoursome, well-raised British pork. Made very slowly, up to five months to mature in the chamber, allows it to develop slowly, avoiding overdrying and generates a rich fruity flavour and soft marbled texture. The sliced Bresaola is cured with herbs, balsamic vinegar and red wine, which give a refreshing tang. A great way to experience British Silverside beef, it’s perfect on its own or with a drizzle of olive oil.
Enjoy oak smoked salmon produced by Secret Smokehouse in the East End of London, Hackney using traditional techniques using only three elements - the finest high-welfare Scottish Salmon, salt and oak smoke. All salmon is farmed in Scotland by a small, independent, family-run producer, then hand-filleted and oak-smoked on-site in London Fields.
All of these are complimented perfectly by the juicy Perello Olives, Baby Gherkins and Salted Marcona Almonds. Finish these gourmet treats off with our Melrose and Morgan crisp roasted hazelnuts enrobed in the finest milk chocolate, with a delicate dusting of roasted coffee powder.
